Discovering new Toy

I like to introduce new things to the kittens each day, yesterday it was a carpet roll  which they new love and run up and down. Dora wasn't too sure and tried to remove kittens from it with her paw when the got near the end!

Box full of Happiness

I have just got in from a meeting to find what I can only describe as a box full of happiness. Now all the kittens are in the same room. Tinkz's kittens are well on the move had decided that they wanted to meet Zizi's babies and had managed to get into the box with them. They looked too cute for me to ignore so I took a photo to share with you all.

Sad morning

A morning of mixed emotions this morning. Little cream girl passed away in the night. Very sad for me, but I know it was probably inevitable from her birth when I thought she wasn't going to survive. She has always been smaller than the rest but she has been such a fighter. She fort until the end!
As always at this point I wonder if I should have prolonged things by putting in such effort rather than letting nature take it's course, but then miracles do happen as in the case of Zena , our own warrior princess ( little Missy, who nearly 3 years ago who beat all to become a beautiful enormous Girl) . So I know faced with the same again I would do everything available through the vet and needed on my part to give my babies the best possible chance.

Dora and Zizi 's kittens are now in together . They are all growing well except the little cream girl who is not very well at all. I thought we were going to lose her last night, but she is still fighting this morning. So I am doing everything possible to help her, feeding her and have her on antibiotics so fingers crossed she has the strenght to keep fighting.

Tinkz's babies have started on solids! a very messy business. I am not sure who gets more food on them me the kittens or the floor. They get covered mouths,eyes, noses feet and behind their ears ( they like to use each others heads as chewing places!)! It is surprising how far a plate of food can go! I had to share these with you before I go for a shower!!

More money for the Ragdoll Recue

There was no winner of the bonus ball game as Wednesday's bonus ball number 48 had been chosen by no-one so the £25 prize money will now go to the Ragdoll rescue we have also had a few other donations promised or received so I am hoping the final total will be over £500. Many Thank to everybody who contributed in so many ways.

Thank you so much to all that attended, helped and spent today at the fund raiser. We made the brilliant total of £430 , we still have some promised donations to come in so may be the final total will be a bit high for this worth while cause. Thanks specially to the people who brought the bag of food in the auction for Bronte. I have just finished clearing up so it's bath and bed for me now.

Yep Dora's kittens finally arrived last night between midnight and 2.30. She had 3 huge babies! This morning we had to move her box near to Zizi whilst I cleaned and when I came back ths is what I found!

Despite a long labour and the assistance of Dora! Zizi has had her first litter of cuties, five in all. Thought you'd like to see the photo's I've taken this morning.
