Life this end has been difficult as you all know and i am sure understand the heartbreak of the end of my marriage has meant that i have had to re-home several of my adult cats , despite them all going to live with lovely people with whom they are very happy if has been very hard for me. that coupled with general sadness and the roller-coaster ride of separation, selling and buying of homes has been my reason for not blogging for sometime. 

Well things are about to change with the start of a new life and new me! so i now intend to get back to blogging at least once a week to keep you updated on my darlings, their babies and and up coming announcement!

so my first blog is going to be a quick update in photo form of some of last years little darlings in their new homes.

Kitten news!!! babies ready to go to new forever homes

 

Emmy- is a stunning seal mitted girl who is very much in charge of everyone, she has me wound around her tiny paw! She is very much Queen of the castle!

  

Sox- is a high white blue male with  fabulous long socks and triangular face markings. he is full of fun and mischief, and demands attention!

 Bob- is adorable blue mitted male, who loves to cuddle and play in equal measures

 

Star-a blue mitted  male, likes nothing better than to come for a quiet snuggle

 

Hector- (centre between Bob and Emmy) is a Seal mitted Male, may be small but he just melts your heart with his looks, he has a wonderful charcter , watching from the sidelines , but loving one to one attention.

Good Bye to My Precious

Sadly, I have had to make the hardest decisions of all to end my darling Precious' time in this world, she was  just over 11 years old , but on Friday she was showing signs of neurological problems and not able to walk properly. When I took her to the vet ,they thought she may have eaten some mouse pellets.They kept her in to put her on a drip, however she still showed no improvement today, and her blood test results were very puzzling with several unusual  levels off the scale. Causing Chronic Kidney Failure , Despite Mr Joely at Amical Vets best efforts it was decided it was the kindest and most loving thing to be done for her. She was a very special girl and will be missed by those she was friends with!

Need to Re-home some of my adult cats

Sadly due to an imminent change in circumstances I need to reduce the number of my cats . So it is with great regret and much heart wrenching sadness I am looking for permanent loving homes for the following of my furry babies. They will all be neutered, with up to date vaccinations flea and worm treatments.

SOPRETTY
Is a  striking red point, female born 17.4.10 so just 4 years old. Very loving girl who would be happy to be homes on her own.

 TIGGY
Is not yet 3  a seal tabby point  female. born  18.10.11. Who wouldn't stay still while I tried to take photos as all she wanted was love , strokes and cuddles! Full of fun and love, happy to be homes alone or with other cats.

SNUFFLES
 A seal tabby Tiggy's son who is a big softy. He is the boy who I hand reared last year so laid back and loving. Born 4.4.2013. I was going to keep him as a stud but he would much rather be a house cat with adoring human company and is not much interested in girls, however I do think he may have a litter of kitten due to Angel in the near future.

I have already found homes for smudgekin is is going to live with her only daughter Alice in Stowmarket and Tyler is retiring to live locally with a family friend who adores him. I will be so sad to see them go as they are my adored furry babies and much loved pets, but I have to reduce my numbers so have no other option but to part with them.

End of an Era

The last of the 2013 kittens left home yesterday with their new families they were headed in different directions Marvin to East Sussex and Boris and Barnaby  to Yorkshire . 

It is the end of an era as they were the last litter for Joy, she is retired ,on Monday she is being spayed and then she will being going to live in Stratford- upon- Avon with her son Chester from this litter

They are growing into fluffy bundles of love!

Who could resist these gorgeous cuties? Luckily I have spent the afternoon loving them. They all were so good when the vet came to give them their first injection, they passed the checks with flying colour!

Poor Joy still gets mobbed if she lays down long enough for the babies to get in for a feed, they are all weaned now but mummy's milk is so good!

The Ragdoll Rescue provides a Rehoming Service with a network of willing volunteers situated all over the country ready to help. In recent years, we have been asked to help rehome a number of Ragdolls when people’s circumstances have changed and they are sadly no longer able to keep their cats.
They have had some fab cards made that are blank suitable for all occasions, also some lovely bed liners and their own wall calendar. I hope to do a fund raiser for them again at the beginning of next year which I am sure you will all come and support again like you did last time.

Lots of little darlings around the place!

Hi all, things have been busy here with 21 kittens about the house! Never again am I going to have 5 litters at the same time ! KT and Miaha's are starting to leave along with Angel's this week. Just one left to find a home for Gabriella Angel's stunning Blue Cream Tortie.

 All the kittens are down stairs now, KT's , Miaha's and Angel's have the run of the kitchen and conservatory along with Percious,  Coco and Zigi.
Dora and her four have the cat sitting room. Molly the seal point has found a family but the blue point girl and the 2 mitted boys are still waiting to find the right home for them

Joy and her brood of seven blue points have the utility room! they are making quite a mess of this and themselves as they are just starting to eat solids , which means they are also poohing not always in the right place at the moment! So thank goodness that it is a very washable floor and has a sink to give them a quick wash, as they are a bit of a handful for Joy to keep well groomed and controlled ! However, they are so cute and adorable running straight up to you when you enter the room so you can forgive them anything. It also has the advantage that they will be used to the noise of washing machines and tumble driers! They are not ready for new homes until Christmas Eve so have not been up for viewing as yet.

We've been busy again!

George and Blue are off to the same family who came to visit them this week Kirsty took so lovely photo which she has kindly said we can share.
I absolutely adore these they are of Em and her chosen partner George, as you can see they already love each other.

Their other kitten blue was far to busy for photo's but Kirsty managed to capture these of him.

Angel's cherubs are growing fast , they are now down stairs with the others and go for their first injections and vet check on Tuesday.

Joy had SEVEN ! Yes 7 kittens on the 26th September, all doing well and have started to open their eyes today.

Dora's Blue mitted boy has learnt to get out of the box today I couldn't resist a photo once I'd captured him! So won't be long before his brother ( also blue mitted) and his sister ( seal point and a Blue point ) will also be out and about! It time to start them on solids this week, a fun but messy business!
